Snake safety

It’s sssnake season. Stay safe while you’re out and about by following these snake safety tips:

• Wear enclosed shoes and trousers when bushwalking
• Avoid walking in long grass
• Keep your lawns and gardens tidy
• If you see one in your yard, move your kids and pets away for an hour or so
• Calmly move away and let the snake go on its way
