The campaign ran from September to November 2013 and targeted high-level drug dealers, grow house/clandestine laboratories and drug-related activity to reduce and disrupt illicit drug supply in the region.
Illicit drugs are a contributing factor to crime rates within our community. They put an unnecessary burden on the health and judicial system and ACT tax payers.
We rely on the community for information to help increase our ability to detect, prevent and enforce illicit drug crime. Campaigns like this one aim to make the community more aware of their social responsibility in reporting illegal drug activity.
If you have seen or know something about illicit drug growing, manufacturing or dealing in the ACT, contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the online reporting form.
Crime Stoppers allows members of the community to provide anonymous information to police about criminal and suspicious activity. Crime Stoppers provides rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
