We’re committed to keeping our community safe! Unregistered and unwanted firearms present a danger to public safety, especially if they fall into the wrong hands.

We’ve partnered with ACT Policing and NSW Police Force to make it easier to hand in unregistered or unwanted firearms. Under the amnesty, you won’t face any penalties and you’ll be doing your part to make our streets safer.

If you live in Canberra or Queanbeyan, you can hand in firearms, firearm parts and ammunition at the Exhibition Management Centre in Mitchell.
