If you’re getting away, there’s a few things you can do to ensure your home is better protected from thieves:
– Install and activate an alarm system
– Record details of valuable property
– Don’t leave valuables in obvious places
– Ensure appropriate keyed locks are fitted to all doors and windows
– Keep house keys, car keys and garage remotes in a safe location
– Lock all garden tools and ladders away securely, so they can’t be used to break into your home
