Traffic injury is the biggest killer of Australian children under 15 and the second-biggest killer of all Australians aged between 15 and 24.

National Road Safety Week is an initiative to highlight the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.

Here are ways to show your support:
• Wear a yellow ribbon
• Display a yellow sticker on your car, motorbike, truck or bike
• Pledge to drive so others survive on the National Road Safety Week website
• Remove distractions
• Don’t speed, drive while tired or under the influence
• Talk to others about how to reduce the risk
